A NOTE FROM THE ROAD AHEAD

Sometimes the best way to prepare for what comes next is to look at how others navigated what came before.

We spend most of our time as leaders focused on what comes next. But the future is shaped by decisions already made, patterns already formed, and moments that quietly set things in motion.

This year, we'll visit the places where important choices were made and experience the conditions that shaped them. The goal is to see our own decisions more clearly.

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, there is no better setting to explore one of leadership's most enduring questions: How do we make decisions whose consequences extend far beyond ourselves?

How do leaders make consequential decisions without complete information? What responsibility do we carry for the future others will inherit?

The chapter provides hotel accommodations from Thursday through Saturday, at-retreat transportation, programmed meals, and activities. Round-trip airfare must be booked by the member and will be reimbursed up to $1,000 per attendee.
